The same-rooted words and phrases which Corresponds to are the research objects of this paper, selecting two representative of same-rooted words and the attribute-head phrases, namely, "bowl, big bowl, china bowl " "house, big house, new house". I selected the before 300 cases that meet the conditions respectively from Beijing University Modern Chinese Corpus. By the method of classification statistic, the paper do the data presentation and case analysis when act as syntactic components in the sentences. Only in this way can we compare the differences both in syntactic function, syllable combination, the grammar of the match rhythm.In addition to the introduction, this article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter through the bowl, big bowl, china bowl of case analysis, compare the grammatical function of similarities and differences between the same-rooted words “bowl” and the attribute-head phrases “big bowl” and“china bowl”. The second chapter through the house, big house,new house of case analysis, compare the grammatical function of similarities and differences between the same-rooted words “house” and the attribute-head phrases, “big house” and“new house”.The third chapter is to compare the grammatical function of the same-rooted words and the attribute-head phrases on the whole.The fourth chapter summarizes the full text, inductive and cognate phrases in the adhesive type is set between the syntax of the similarities and differences.
