Discuss About The Chinese Newspapers’ Reading Strategies For Foreign Students

With the enhancing of comprehensive country power,since China held the 2008’ Beijing Olympics Games,China has had a strong power in the world. Culture and some other aspects,China has been connected tight with other countries all of the world. At the same time,the foreigners’ number of learning Chinese language and culture is increasing continuously owing to all sorts of reasons. For example,do business,studying,work and so on,and also some other foreigners choose to learn Chinese language due to they are interested in Chinese culture. In this case,the development of MTCSOL is full of more and more chances and challenge. As a student,I am being major in The master of teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language(MTCSOL),the author of this paper has felt deeply that the export of Chinese information is increasing continuously, as one of the carrier which export Chinese information-Chinese newspapers, is becoming a effective way for foreign students to know about and be interested in Chinese culture,and because of the themes of Chinese newspapers are timing,they are windows for foreign students to know about or to recognize of China. So, the author of this paper analysed and summarized the reading strategies of Chinese newspapers books that can be achieved by foreign students. In this way,they can read Chinese newspapers more efficiently and they can know more about the modern China fluent ly, and with a objective outlook or attitude to know about or be recognized of China.There is totally five parts in this paper: The first part introduced some items, including the papers’ background, the meaning of this paper, the research result of this paper, and the research method of this paper,the author explained the reasons why the author wrote this paper. The second part of this paper introduced and analyzed teaching Chinese newspapers as a foreign language, and take the ‘advanced China newspapers reading series —TIMES’ as a example, summarized and analyzed the general kinds and the themes of Chinese newspapers to middle rank or high rank of Chinese language learners when they read Chinese newspapers, and analyzed carefully the characters of Chinese newspapers which the author of the paper mentioned in it. The third apart is about the character of Chinese newspapers for foreign students, including the character of Chinese words, passage, grammer. The forth part is much connected with the second part, analyzed about the reading strategies of some types of Chinese newspapers, introduced the Chinese newspapers’ characters of different types of Chinese newspapers. In this part, the author summarized the reasons why write this paper, and generally analyzed and summarized the reading strategies of Chinese newspapers books.
