Arikha is one of the most influential contemporary artists in Israel. Arikha’s figurative painting is systematically studied, especially Arikha’s figurative painting style and evolution to make their own in this paper. Process, the author think that Arikha figurative painting is out of the ordinary, in addition to the unique way of observation, very important point is the early by the influence of his abstract painting. In this paper, I will let the readers know Arikha’s early unusual experience, next I will analysis the important influence of Arikha’s figurative painting, so I can do a more in-depth analysis to Arikha’s works. Readers can expanding his vision when they know Arikha’s figurative painting,and at the same time, also let readers feel to a completely different representational painting, the reader can feel the charm of figurative painting and have a new understanding of figurative painting.Is in the frame of the painting gradually decline and Arikha’s painting language finded the new road, and prove the figurative painting of infinite possibilities. His art since the 90’s of the last century has an important guiding significance to China. Therefore, we can say, Arikha as representative artists of the figurative painting, and he had effected to the painting of contemporary. At the same time, it also has important significance to the development of modern Chinese oil painting.
