Oral Chinese teaching occupies a very important part in Chinese teaching. Through using the main ideas and teaching modes of constructivism theory to solve the problems of elementary oral Chinese in Chinese teaching. Then the author applies the constructivism theory to the teaching design of elementary oral Chinese teaching to help learners improve their oral Chinese communication skills in oral class teaching activities.The main research content of this thesis is divided into three parts:Chapter one discusses the main ideas and the teaching conception of constructivism theory, which including the function of "circumstances", the role allocation and effect of the teacher and student, teaching principles as well as teaching modes. The author relates these ideas to Chinese teaching to explore how these ideas draw inspiration to primary oral Chinese teaching. Chapter two focuses on teaching design of elementary oral Chinese teaching under the instruction of constructivism theory, which including the following four aspects:teaching analysis, teaching strategy, teaching feedback and teaching reflection. Chapter three discusses the teaching design and its analysis under the instruction of constructivism theory. The author gives practical applications of the design for teaching scheme in last chapter, and draws a conclusion according to the Chinese learner’s feedback to complete the teaching scheme for better applications in the future.
