The Study On The Chinese-Uyghur Thanslation Of Idioms Related To The Chinese Character “Yi”

Chinese idiom is a fixed phrase formation of the Chinese nation in the long life practice. It is a fixed structure, concise and comprehensive, is the epitome and quintessence of Chinese language and culture, is also the focus and difficulty of translation. In order to explore the law of Chinese idiom translation,to improve the translation of idioms and the improvement of bilingual dictionaries.This paper selects some representative of the "one" word idioms as the object of study, through analyzing to collect finishing the Uyghur translation of idioms with "one" word,combined with Chinese and Uyghur idioms features, lexical coincidence, lexical parallel or lexical gaps, summary of the situation is different in "one" idiom translation methods. Finally, pointed the weakness on idiom translation of "one" word in the bilingual dictionary.
