With the rapid development of the society and economy, network public opinion which hasgradually replace the traditional media, becomes the mainstream channel of showing thecurrent social form and important events. Because of the enforcement of tax law affecting awide range and relating to the distribution of benefits, the tax department as a lawenforcement agency,is very easy to become the focus of network public opinion. In recentyears, the network public opinion involving tax is increasing. For example, the three publicexpenditures of the State Taxation Administration, steamed bread tax, work overtime tax, etc.The network users not only pay more attention to the tax department of the tax policy and thedaily operation, but also express their demands for the allocation of social resources, thedistribution of benefits and other social problems call for reform. In the new situation ofbuilding a socialist harmonious society and establishing a modern tax administration system,how to strengthen tax public opinion monitoring, and enhance the ability of handling crisis, isan important subject in front of the tax department.This paper conducted a literature study depending on the government network publicopinion management. Standing in the grass-roots tax department’s point of view, the paperanalyzed and evaluated the exploration and practice of network public opinion managementinvolving tax in G City Office, SAT. Meanwhile, combining with the trend of thedevelopment of Internet, social and economic development situation and new task for tax, thispaper also analyzed the problems existing in the network public opinion managementinvolving tax. First of all,it is difficult to control the diffusion of public opinion. Second,Analysis is not accurate, resulting in missing the golden opportunity. Third, it is failure to theinter-departmental communication.From the perspective of public administration,this paper put forward the suggestions onstrengthening the network public opinion management involving tax. Firstly, it is necessary totake the initiative to prevent, and establish the prevention and control system of networkpublic opinion. Secondly, it must confront the contradictions and timely intervene in thenetwork public opinion event involving tax. Finally, it must properly deal with the networkpublic opinion, and improve the ability to turn crisis into opportunities.
