In recent years, it makes marriage tougher for men in countryside of the North area ofHenan Province.In order to cope with the difficult situation of marriage,the parents ofmarriageable young men conduct Wedding ceremony for them when the son has not reachedthe legal age for marriage,then they will get registered of marriage until they hit legalmarriage age.After their wedding ceremony before marriage registration,for some reason theydivorced each other.In the process of divorce,both men and women are difficult to reachconsensus about the return of betrothal gifts.In the divorce settlement of disputes, the peopleabandon the traditional way of conciliation and go to law.Whether the law help them settle thedisputes,it is a question.Based on an investigation in the area,I see the upholding utility from the people,theychoose their own resources to solve practical problems.The author tries to describe thephenomenon that people choose the traditional ethics or the rule of law to solve the problemwith their experience, wisdom.With a case study,the author analyses the spirits and behaviorsin dealing with a difficult of divorce.
