Sorting Out And Researching "The Roots Of Saints" Of Hui Nationality In Northern Henan

The Xiaojing literature in the north of Henan Province was relatively neglected by scholars.The Xiaojing literature is mingled with Chinese dialects,scholastic language,Arabic and Farsi,which not only rich in content,but also has remarkable value in philology,linguistics,religious studies and anthropology.In the northwest area of China,Xiaojing is mainly used to study ancient books and records by mosque as the annotation.Although there are individual readers,its degree of dissemination is nowhere near the degree in Central China.From the end of Qing Dynasty,this character was spread in the Mosque female temple and female school in Central China,and became the teaching document of female temple.The Farsi and Arabic ancient books and records was translated into Xiaojing,and this is the literature that we have seen today.When the national compulsory education has not yet widespread,Xiaojing plays an important role in writing and communication among Muslim in the north of Henan Province.the Story of the Prophets is a long,chronological Xiaojing narrative which preach the Goodness.The text is fluent and coherent,and the writer added some Chinese elements.So it is a very representative Xiaojing text.In the past,scholars paid more attention on the research of character rather than text,this paper is attempt to remedy that.On the basis of the transcript of the Story of the Prophets which was inherited by Wang Feng rui,this paper not only transfered it according to academic standards,but also research the text in perspective of anthropology.Generally,this paper is divided into five parts.Part one:Introduction,mainly introduce the meaning,origin of the research,literature review,research method and the innovation.Part two:this part combs the content,background,origin and generation system of the Story of the Prophets.In part three,the paper compared the new features with the original structure and content,also analyzed how stories on morality affects female school's education.In the forth part,this paper sorts out the scholastic language and borrowed words in the text,and contrasts Xiaojing character with Jawi character in Southern Asia in the aspect of language,current situation,development and history.The fifth part is about the special subject discussion of religious traditions,social network and social changes.Discussing the existence predicament of Xiaojing literature under the modernization,and furthermore this paper analyzed the modernization transition about female temple and female school in Henan.
