Hegemony and hegemonic have always been an important research topic in the theory ofinternational relations and the international politics, especially the research about theAmerican hegemony, experts and scholars have continued to conduct research and explorationon spending a huge finance, resources and energy, they have made extensive research results.Since the20th century, the world is constantly adapt to the background of politicalmulti-polarization, economic globalization and cultural diversity. In such a complexbackground, the United States broke its traditional hegemony and began to implement its newstrategy to the world after the end of the Cold War, on attempting to use its strong economicbase and a strong military power to dominate the world.China, as the world’s largest developing country and the world’s second largest entityeconomic, has close contacts and extensive common interests in politics, economy and culturewith the United States. In the context of economic globalization, political multi-polarizationand cultural diversity, only the two countries establish a good and stable bilateral relation canpromote both’s continuous development. This is not only beneficial to interoperability andmutual trust in political, economic and culture between the two countries, but also moreconducive to the stable development of politics, economy and culture in the world. But inorder to consolidate the position as the world hegemony, the United States don’t stop tolaunching its new hegemonic strategy to the world, which makes the Sino-US relationscouldn’t enter into a healthy and stable development track. In the face of the continuous newhegemony strategy China should face actively, and to be objective and comprehensiveunderstanding and further research, which will bring a great theoretical and practicalsignificance to the peaceful rise of China.
