Research On The Sustainable Development Of China’s Red Tourism

Red tourism is gradually emerging in the nineties of last century, and it hasdeveloped into a new type of economic activity. Red Tourism is one kind of specialtourist activities, it is a collection of the multiple functions of political education,economic and culture. It could supply tourists with places to accept the patrioticeducation and traditional revolutionary education by means of tour activities, allowingthem to be with happy mood. At the very beginning of21st century, the CPC andnational government pay more and more attention to the red tourism. In order topromote the development of red tourism, our country has adopted a series of policies,setting off one after another wave of red tourism hot. Thus,we pour more attention intothe sustainable development of red tourism. The core theory of sustainable developmentof red tourism contains the sustainable development of society and culture, thesustainable development of environment and the sustainable development of economy.Moreover, the sustainable development of society and culture which mainly lies in thefunction of political education and cultural propagation, is the highest level of redtourism. Additionally, the sustainable development of red tourism environment whichmainly lies in the required environmental support of red tourism activities’operation, isthe basic level for sustainable development of red tourism. And the sustainabledevelopment of red tourism’s economy which mainly lies in the economic effectscaused by red tourism, is the business level of the sustainable development of redtourism.In recent years, because of the rapid development of red tourism, we have achieveda multitude of results in the theory of teaching and theoretical research. However, theresearch on red tourism is mainly concentrated in the concept, characteristics, carrier,and functions of of red tourism as well as the problems in the development process.Apparently, it lacks a systematic study on the exploitation of red tourism, route designand marketing. So we are in the dilemma that the theory lags behind the actual needs inthe process of the development of red tourism. As a result, we are short of the effectivetheoretical guidance in the process of exploiting red resources.Therefore, in order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of China’sred tourism,this paper puts forward a comprehensive and profound analysis of the redtourism and the red-resources development principles as well as the concept ofsustainable development according the red tourism resources,routes design and theproblems which are occurred in the process of red tourism.In this paper, the author advice the theoretical research can be applied to the actual development of red tourism according to the existed problems and the development ofactual situation,and puts forward the feasible strategies for the the sustainabledevelopment of red tourism.
