On Path To Enhance The Credibility Of The Government

The credibility of the government refers to the ability to obtain public trust in government.Political trust is the psychological of compliance. Observe and dependence when people face onthe political system. This paper is based on a research about college students’political trust in Zhejiang province, combined the research status at home and abroad, and thenanalyzes the present situation of political trust in China and the existing problems of collegestudents’ political trust, in order to find the way to enhance the credibility of the government.The first part of the article based on the research of credibility of the government and politicaltrust, introduced the background and the significance, the research on credibility of the governmentand political trust home and abroad. Finally make a conclusion: although the research on credibilityof the government and political trust started late, existing research has many shortcomings, but inthe next period, the focus on credibility of the government and political trust will continue tostrong, the outcome of the number will increase.The second part of the article briefly introduces the concept of credibility, credibility of thegovernment, trust,and political trust, as well as the important role of credibility of the governmentand political trust. This part analyzed the legal relationship between credibility of the governmentand political trust. Make a point that the credibility of the government and political trusthave strong correlations between.And then point out that the political trust is the internal factors ofthe credibility of the government, credibility of the government is a part of the externalmanifestations of political trust, the credibility of the government and political trust mutualinfluenced. And then combined with the current reality of our country, introduces the descendentlevel of political trust, the phenomenon of level difference is significant, expression on politicaltrust become various and situation is controllable.The third part of the article introduced the research and conclusion. Research shows, the truston the national system of college students is neutral, the trust on legal justice is in holding, and truston government is relatively low. The survey also revealed six common phenomenon in collegestudents’ political trust, the love on party isn’t same on country, level difference is not significant, abstract trust is higher than the specific trust, the overall level is descend but individual trust lever isrise, the trusts on public functionary instead of government trust, the descendent level of politicalparticipation.The fourth part of the article analyzes the causes of political trust, which influence collegestudents weightily. The causes include: source of students family environment, age, educationbackground, political religion, the main channel to obtain information, ability of public functionaryis low, the policy is not practicable well, the management methods is improper. Besides, the levelof economic development, the process of democracy and law-based of country is slow,the level onculture of credibility is low are causes also.The fifth part of the article introduced the way to enhance the credibility of the governmentfrom the national perspective, local governments and departments, the university, andfamily. Including: promote economic development, enhance the level of law-based ofcountry, establish and improve the social credit system, develop the policy which accord to people’s interest, solve the problem which people reflect extrusive, standardize government behavior, toprevent and control corruption, enlarging political participation, enhance the ability of leaders,standardize media behaviour, pay attention to the ideological and political education more, create agood environment of campus, strengthen the construction of party organization inuniversity; cultivate correct view on trust, do the correct behavior guidance, with a good familyatmosphere etc.
