The Research On The Transformation Of Urban Village In Pearl River Delta Developed Area

The process of urbanization was accelerating gradually since China’s reform and opening was been implemented, and the urbanization process of Pearl River Delta region was the forefront of the country. Urbanization had made huge contribution to promote local economic development, improve local viewing, and improve people’s living standards. But it also produced a lot of problems, and " Urban Village" was one of the major problems in the process of urbanization. Currently, most cities existed different degrees of Urban Villages phenomenon. These cities were facing with on the subject of transformation. The transformation of Urban Villages had become major issues of common concern.This thesis first analyzed the research background and significance, so as to determine the scope of the study and research objectives. Then the basic theory of transformation Urban Villages was briefly description. From the analysis of the significance of urbanization, the existing theories of Urban Villages transformation, and the current situation of urbanization in Pearl River Delta region, it aimed to point out the current problems of urbanization, thereby introducing the problem of Urban Villages Research. Afterwards, this artitle discussed all aspects for existed urban village in Pearl River Delta Developed areas, including current situation, mechanism of formation, and description of various transformation model. This thesis selected Shilong Xihu Village which was one of Urban Villages in developed Pearl River Delta region as reserch. With the geographical and transportation advantage and the advantage of regional development, this artitle analyzed Xihu Village urbanization status, and its transformation outlook. After that, this thesis focused on the transformation method, and Combined with urban planning, construction supervision, harmonious society, ecological civilization construction and other factors put forward corresponding countermeasures.Finally, this thesis summarized the transformation experience, and to provide a reference for implementation of new urbanization.
