The Analysis Of Deng Xiaoping’s Ecological Thoughts

Now, eco-environmental problems become the focus of the people of all circles. How to improve the ecological environment, to build a socialist ecological civilization? Perhaps, we can get beneficial enlightenment from the experience and methods of predecessors’environmental protections. From this view, the author analyses Deng Xiaoping’s ecological thoughts.Deng Xiaoping’s ecological thoughts are the thoughts about the protection and construction of the ecological environment, which are suitable for the China’s actual conditions. They were founded by Deng Xiaoping. This thought shows rich spectral contents, which is scattered through the related works and conversations of Deng Xiaoping. The analysis of Deng Xiaoping’s ecological thoughts has very important significances for grasping Deng Xiaoping Theory, understanding the development of the cause of Chinese eco-environmental protection and promoting the construction of socialist ecological civilization.Starting from the analysis of the realistic background and theoretical origin of Deng Xiaoping’s ecological thoughts, this paper explores the background of Deng Xiaoping’s ecological thoughts. On this basis, this paper generalizes Deng Xiaoping’s ecological thoughts from five aspects:the thought of environmental governance, the thought about fair development and use of resources, the thought about coordinated development of population and ecological environment, the awareness of eco-agriculture, sustainable development idea. In addition, this paper gives objective evaluation to Deng Xiaoping’s ecological thoughts, not only points out the theoretical and practical values, but also points out the theoretical and practical limitations. And this paper analyzes the causes of the limitations of the thought from different angles. Finally, starting from the practical matter, this paper tries to combine ecology with economy, politics, culture and society, in order to pursue the actual enlightenment on the construction of ecological civilization in new era of China.
