A Study On The Changes Of Ethnic Policy Of The Communist Party Of China

Ethnic problems are complicated and changeable, which play an important role in China’s economic and social development. After the slave and feudal society, China becomes a multi-ethnic country. In contemporary society, the world’s ethnic problems are gradually moving into national independence and liberation. The invasion of the imperialist and the warlord under the control of the imperialist has brought great disaster to the people of China. Based on the multi-ethnic reality and social background, the Communist Party of China decisively chose Marxism, and then formulated the corresponding ethnic policy.With the development of revolutionary practice, ethnic policy of the CPC is constantly changing. It is a long and difficult process that our party finally established the Chinese characteristics socialist ethnic policy system. From basically copying the Soviet model to solve ethnic problems at the beginning of the founding of our party to developing ethnic policy of the CPC, is a long and difficult process. In the different historical period, the leadership of CPC combines the basic principles of Marxism with China’s national conditions, which helps the establishment and perfect of the ethnic policy of the CPC. Compared with the Chinese dynasties, socialism Soviet and capitalism American’s ethnic policy, ethnic policy of the CPC has its unique advantages. The ethnic policy of the CPC has succeeded in solving series ethnic problems in the process of Chinese revolution and construction. And the policy has played a positive role in promoting the construction and development of the ethnic groups. However, in recent years, part of ethnic minority areas in China is uneven. Some new problems appear. Because of the heat comments on our ethnic policy, we had to work hard to explore the development direction of our ethnic policy, which finally hope to achieve the balance between "political ethnic policy" and "cultural ethnic policy","ethnic identity" and "ethnic difference" or "national consciousness" and "ethnic consciousness".The paper studies on the changes of the ethnic policy of the CPC, compares its specific Chinese characteristics, analyzes the difficulties it’s facing, and finally explores its development direction. Under the new situation of socialist market economic system, the paper is also used to promoting, advancing, innovating and developing the ethnic policy constantly with times, which can better serve the ethnics and the ethnic regions.
