Research On The Construction Of Rural Grassroots Democracy In China From Perspective Of Deliberative Democracy

Grass-roots democracy in rural areas is the core of villagers’ autonomy, democratic election, democratic decision making, democratic management and democratic supervision as the main content of the socialist democratic political practice. Grass-roots democracy in rural areas is one of the main driving forces of China’s economic and political development and a particularly important part of China’s socialist democratic political construction. In the30years of reform and opening up, with the rapid development of China’s rural grassroots democracy and significant improvement of their material living conditions, democratic ideology has been widely accepted and farmers personally involved in politics more and more. With China’s economy continuing to progress and diversification of benefits, in order to meet the demands of their personal interests and personal interests to achieve the goal, the different stakeholders in grassroots democracy in the outstanding performance of their own interests and not conducive to the maintenance of public interest, problem of rural grass-roots democracy is gradually increasing, seriously affecting the further development of grassroots democracy.
