Since the independencehappened in Malaysia,1957, people had expressing much more dissatisfaction to thegovernment in peaceful way, except the massive chaos caused by racial conflict in1969. All mentioned as below is forcing the process of political transformation inMalaysia. As one national and multi-culture country, Malaysia had become the modelcountry, which takes Muslims in the majority of population. In Badawi Era, he bringsthe concept of “Modern Islam”, which upgrade to “Moderate Islam” while Najibtake the position of prime minister. The most successful experience in Malaysia is“Focusing on development, ignoring the Ideology”, which keeping eyes on theeconomic development as the first goal and along with the sequence of“economy-society-politic”step by step, and finally solid the foundation of Malaysiain long-term.This thesis is based on the theory of Political Transformation, along with theprocess analysis and research by the method of historical analysis, example studyanalysis and comparative analysis. This thesis is departed in these parts: chapter onewill expound the theory of political transformation, through which, to analysis theprocess of political transformation in Malaysia; chapter two will showing thedeveloping process of Malaysia’s politic, which describe the process before and afterits independence; chapter three will analysis factors which effecting Malaysia’spolitical transformation through sides of economy, race, culture and political partydevelop; chapter four will focus on the problems which Malaysia’s facing during itspolitical transition and the reasons for these problems, and temp to find the way tosolve these problems.The conflict caused by national and racial contradiction is normal in countrieswhere locate in south-east Asia region, which always threaten the development tothem. The solution of Malaysia’s ethnic contradictions is gradually promoting thepolitical transformation. All in all, the analysis to political transformation in Malaysiais not only helpful to country’s political development, but also offering one different way with western democratic developing way to other national countries’ politicaltransformation in the world.
