Research On Urban And Rural Social Security System Under The Object Of Harmonious Society

Social security is one of the most symbols of social progress and civilization. Theintegrity of the urban and rural social security system concerns the fairness and justice,stability and unity and citizens’ vital interests of the whole society. In recent years, with thedeepening of the practice of socialism reform, social security has been highlighted. Therefore,more scholars in different fields have pay attention to the study of social security theory.The stable development of economic society requires the consistence of its economicdevelopment and social security system. It has important significance to the economicdevelopment and social stability; meanwhile it is an essential part of establishing harmonioussociety. Since the reform and opening, large number of practice and researching has beencarried out in the system of urban and rural social security, which has gained delectableachievements. The system has been further improved, and the level of social security has beendeeply enhanced. However, the lack of government responsibility, the insufficient funds, thecomplex security objects and other problems in the constitution have constituted seriousobstacles in the construction road of promoting urban and rural social security system.Consequently, how to construct a social security system to adapt its economic system andsocial development levels has become a critical issue.This paper firstly expatiated Marx’s thought of social security point of view andsignificance, analyzed the close relationship between the construction of social securitysystem and constructing harmonious society, and described the important role andsignificance of the perfect construction of social security system played in the construction ofharmonious socialist society. Secondly, combining with foreign relevant experience, the paperdrew some inspiration according to the two urban and rural pilots’ experience of Nen He andKe Shan in Hei Longjiang province. Finally, the thesis analyzed the exiting problems in theconstruction of urban and rural social security and deal with the strategies for how to establishand improve the system of urban and rural social security.
