The Vision Of The Social Security System With Chinese Characteristics In The Harmonious Socialist Society

After three decades of reform and opening-up and modernization, integrated nation power of China has improved tremendously; the people have reached a well-off standard of living. Under the background of the spread and impact of the global financial crisis in 2008 and the economic recovery slowly in 2009, C.P.C. decided to establish a perfect system about social safeguard with Chinese characteristics. However, dual Structure in Urban and Rural Areas has not fundamentally changed; gap, in some aspects, has widening between rural and urban. It is difficult for social security system with urban-rural dualistic separation to adapt to the requirements of the harmonious society. Thus, under the new era of new situation, reforming the previous one and coordinating the new urban-rural social security system gradually become increasingly important.This thesis is constituted by six parts research the social security system with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of a harmonious socialist society.The first section is about the current situation of the social security system in china.The second section dissertates the relative concepts of the harmonious socialist society and social security system; clarifies the distinction of harmonious society and harmonious socialist society social security; demonstrates the specific meaning of social security, social security system and security system with Chinese characteristics.The third section reviews the historical development process of China's social security system and the thoughts of social security with Chinese characteristics. It also reviews the reform and development of China's social security system, before and after, 20 century 90 years; and mainly discusses the vision of the social security system with Chinese characteristics in the harmonious socialist society.The fourth section is about the background of the vision of the social security system with Chinese characteristics in the harmonious socialist society. It points out the theoretical background of such system- the scientific outlook on development and building a harmonious socialist society; exposits its reality background from the economic perspective, perspective of people's livelihood and issues of agriculture farmer and rural area.The fifth section creatively puts forward the specialty of the social security system with Chinese characteristics under the harmonious socialist society vision. Author analyzes the differences between social security system with Chinese characteristics and such system in developed countries by comparison method, meanwhile, points out the new progress the social security system Chinese characteristics made in the new development of the continuous reform.The sixth section discusses the principles which develop the social security system with Chinese characteristics under the harmonious socialist society must adhere to. First of all, we must insist on the guidance of Marxism theory; secondly, we must persevere in the mind-set of fairness, justice, and share-together; once again, we must stick to the principle that combining the thought of people-oriented and take pity on the weak; finally, we must persist in the principle that combing the universality, unity and sustainable development.The seventh section is the hindmost part of the thesis which describes the great strategic significance of the social security system with Chinese characteristics, this piece discusses the influence of the social security system with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of society's harmonious development, socialism market economic system, long-term stability of the Party and the state.
