Research On Some Liu Shaoqi Party Building Theory

Comrade Liu Shaoqi was a great Marxist, one of the great proletarianrevolutionist, politician, theorist, main leaders of the Party and Nation, foundingfather of People’s Republic of China, and main leaders of the party and nation,offered many unique insights and enriched Marxist-Leninist theory in the process ofhis more than40years’ theoretical and practical work. One of which is that theconstruction of the Party is the core issue concerned to the future and destiny of thecountry. Liu Shaoqi had always emphasized on the construction of the party whilechairing the party and working in the front line. He not only summarized the generalrules on self-construction of the party, but also pointed out the future direction of thebuilding of the party and the country, laying a solid foundation for the futurecompletion of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and being recognized andaccepted by the majority of the party members and cadres as well as widely studied.This paper explains the purpose and significance in studying some Liu Shaoqi’stheory of party construction, and focus from two aspects of domestic and abroad onacademic research achievements, the united front work of Liu Shaoqi, party unityideas, new democracy theory, the Communists ideological self-cultivation theory,Correct treatment the struggle of ideology within the party, the theory of grassrootsorganizations, the theory of improving the work of the party system, Ideological toprotect the rights of party members, and the theory’s contribution to Marxist theoryof party building, thought construction of the party, system construction of the party,and organization construction of the party.
