A Study On The Alienation Of Technology Generation And Overcome

Scientific and technological advances, not only have changed the way people liveand survive, while also are transforming the mankind itself. Especially in a capitalistsociety, the capital kidnapped science and technology, leading to the alienation of scienceand technology. Science and technology does not serve the people’s liberation anddevelopment better, but become alien forces which hinder human liberation anddevelopment, threatening the survival of humanity.In this paper, the research is divided into three parts, the causes of alienation ofscience and technology，Western Marxism alienation theory and the alienation of scienceand technology solutions. First, this paper analyzes the historical roots and socialbackgrounds which the alienation of science and technology produced. Private ownershiphas led to the alienation of labor, and labor alienation has caused the alienation of scienceand technology, so private ownership is the root of the alienation of science andtechnology. Undoubtedly, the division of labor has been deepened the alienation of scienceand technology. Secondly, the article describes the Western Marxist theories of alienationof science and technology. With the development of industrial society, alienation ofscience and technology, in the new historical conditions, has developed to a new stage. Atthis stage, Western Marxism made a detailed explanation of this and made a provokingsolution to solve the problem of alienation of science and technology. Finally, althoughWestern Marxism proposed to solve the problem of alienation of science and technologyfor various programs, but still has its limitations inevitably place. In the end, standing onthe position of Marxism philosophy, this paper presents some technical problems to solvescientific insights, and clarify the intrinsic relationship between the development ofscience and technology and human progress.By using literature research, comparative research and inductive and deductivemethod of combining, the article concludes: the alienation of science and technology iscaused by the labor alienation; labor alienation and technological alienation areinsurmountable particular stages in the history of the development of human society. When solving the problems of Alienation of science and technology, Western Marxismabandoned the specific social environment, and thinks the alienation of science andtechnology problems are caused by their own irrationality, which shows a lot of limitations.With the study on the basis of their predecessor, the article pointed out that to solve thealienation of science and technology, we should focus on the long term, and not ignore themoment, and it is necessary for us to make combination between the critique to the socialsystem and the people-centered development in science and technology.
