An Analysis Of Marx’s Thought Of "Alienation Of Communication" In Mill’s Commentary

The discussion of alienated labor in Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844 made people understand Marx’s alienated thought to a great extent,but in fact his alienated thought is not limited to this.Abstract of james mill’s "Principles of Political Economy" is one of a large number of excerpted notes created by Marx during the Paris period.In this note,he published a large number of personal comments and many important ideas,and also conveyed an important thought-alienation of communication.Starting from the text itself,this article first focuses on the analysis of the current three main viewpoints on the writing sequence of Mill’s Commentary,namely,"Before Mill’s Commentary","First Manuscript First" and "After Mill’s Commentary".Based on the analysis of the three writing sequences,the author agrees with the viewpoint of "first manuscript first".Under such premise,the second chapter of this article analyzes the influence of the subjective thought of German classical philosophy on Marx.Through the analysis of the thought of typical characters and the interpretation of Marx’s early Wen Zhang,it further points out the reason why Marx turned from pure speculation to paying attention to real economic facts.Marx paid close attention to the economic level.From the reason of the real situation under capitalist production,he could not get past the 1844 Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy.Therefore,after deeply analyzing the causes and essence of alienated labor,Chapter III of Wen Zhang deeply interprets the text of Mill’s Commentary,separating three manifestations of alienation of communication from the interpretation of the two chapters on distribution and exchange,namely,human activities under the condition of private ownership have the attribute of money,the highly abstract nature of money leads to the existence of money independently of human beings,and human beings in the sense of money lose the exchange relationship as human beings,so as to deeply grasp the connotation of alienation of communication.Then,following the writing sequence of "Intermediate Theory" in Mill’s Commentary,this paper analyzes the differences and connections between alienated labor and communication alienation in Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844,and tries to find ways to discard labor alienation and communication alienation.This paper holds that the thought of alienation of communication is of great significance to Marx’s thought of alienation,so the text of Mill’s Commentary should also receive sufficient attention.The understanding of the connotation of alienation of communication cannot be analyzed without alienation of labor,because production and exchange are both important links under capitalist economy.Analyzing the two from the perspective of subject and object and intersubjectivity can only explain the difference between the two,but they cannot be understood separately.Finally,the sublation of alienation should be found from the alienated private ownership,that is,to overthrow the private ownership to realize the real human labor and human communication and to realize the real free and all-round development of human beings.
