A Comparative Study Of Marx’s Theory Of Labor Alienation And Arendt’s Theory Of Labor Socialization

Labor theory is one of the core theories of Marx’s ideological system.Although Arendt misreads Marx’s labor view,her discussion on labor broadens the horizon of later generations’ study on Marx’s labor view.The paper from the perspective of alienation makes a systematic comparison between Marx’s theory of labor alienation and Arendt’s theory of labor socialization,and then closely connects their theories with Xi Jinping’s labor view.And this will help people to realize the importance of the establishment of a correct labor view for contemporary workers giving play to their enthusiasm and initiative of labor,and also enable people to actively participate in the construction of a well-off society in an all-round way through free and conscious labor.This paper carries out a comparative study of Marx’s theory of labor alienation and Arendt’s theory of labor socialization from four parts.The first part elaborates the reasons of selecting the topic,the significance of the research,the research target,the research methods and the innovations of the article,as well as the current situation of domestic and foreign scholars’ comparative research on Marx’s and Arendt’s labor view.The second part,from the perspective of human alienation,systematically studies the main contents of Marx’s theory of labor alienation,the results caused by the theory of labor alienation,the ways to overcome labor alienation and the purposes of overcoming labor alienation.The third part,from the perspective of world alienation,systematically studies the main contents of Arendt’s theory of labor socialization,the results caused by the theory of labor socialization,the ways to overcome labor socialization and the purposes of overcoming labor socialization.The fourth part mainly discusses the similarities and differences between Marx’s and Arendt’s labor view,the reasons for Arendt’s misunderstanding of Marx’s labor view,as well as the contemporary enlightenment of Marx’s theory of labor alienation and Arendt’s theory of labor socialization,so as to comprehensively compare Marx’s and Arendt’s labor view.As Arendt does misread Marx’s labor view,We should not only comprehensively study Marx’s labor view and partly learn from reasonable contents of Arendt’s labor view,but also unswervingly study Xi Jinping’s "labor view",and correctly handle the relationships between labor and laborers’ personality,commodities,science and technology,and consumption.
