The Research On Development And Mamagement Of Public-welfare Youth Organizations In Xuhui District

As a vitality force of civil society, social organizations is playingand will further play its important role in the process of Chinese socialconstruction. Currently in China, the public welfare social organizationcan provide public service products, which is exactly the government isunable to provide comprehensively, and enterprise has no motivation tosupply. When the youth, the most active, most exuberant andmost open-minded community in contemporary society, formed a socialservice agency, most dynamic, most vigorous elements of current societyis assembled, attracting academic attention. However, public welfareorganizations inevitably face uncertainties and challenges in Chinanowadays. It’s an important issue placed in front of those who interestedin the research of social organizations that how to deal with thesechallenges, and turn challenges into opportunities.This article takes Shanghai City Xuhui District as an example, usesthe literature research method and interview method, interviews severaltypical organizations, in order to have an overview on the developmentstatus of the youth welfare organizations in the district, hoping analyzethe further development and management problems with governancetheory, and provide the countermeasure and suggestions.The framework of the study consists six parts. The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduces the background of the research, thepurpose and significance, the framework and methodology of the research.The second chapter identifies the concept of social organizations andpublic-welfare youth social organizations, elaborates the related theory.The third chapter makes a description of the current situation of thedevelopment and management of public-welfare youth socialorganizations in Xuhui District according to the literature and interview.The fourth chapter analyzes the shortage of the development andmanagement of Xuhui District public-welfare youth social organizations.The fifth chapter gives the corresponding countermeasures andsuggestions. The sixth chapter is the conclusion, and also explains thelimitations of this study and the direction for further study.
