Studies On Current Development Of Suzhou Public Welfare Youth Social Organizations And Corresponding Countermeasures

In recent years,the process of industrialization,urbanization and internationalization have accelerated in Suzhou.There have been an ever diversified economic sectors and social sectors in this city.Many young people in Suzhou,through self-organization,self-development,and self-operation,have launched a great number of public welfare youth social organizations,aiming at exploring fashionable life-style,promoting excellent traditional culture and practicing social welfare responsibilities.These volunteers carry out activities on both real and virtual platforms.They gradually become an important force in carrying on governmental duties,offering social service and promoting social cultural development.The members of public welfare youth social organizations are mainly young people.The social function of these organizations is characteristic of distinct social public welfare.Therefore,making a tentative exploration of its current development and countermeasures is helpful to the development of public welfare youth social organization.It also has a positive influence on the promotion of social management innovation.However,due to the late start of China's public welfare youth social organizations,there is a lack of long-term accumulation and experience,which results in many outstanding problems.This thesis tries to base upon the research findings of public welfare youth social organizations,through the author's personal investigation,use civil society theory,self-organizing theory and government function theory as theoretical tools,via an integrated analysis of documentary research,questionnaire and interviews.The thesis takes Suzhou Youth Volunteer Association as an example,analyzes and explores an effective way to promote the healthy development of public welfare youth social organizations,as well as studies and analyzes its current development and existing problems.
