Research On Issues Of Community Public Service Supplyand Countermeasures In Urban Community Changed From Rural Community In Weihai

With the development of economy and society, community-the basic unit ofthis modern city community has been playing an increasingly important role inpeople’s life. The community public service is an important aspect of communityconstruction achievements. In the development of urbanization. In thedevelopment of urbanization, urban community changed from rural community isforced to change from rural community to urban community.Due to the immature economic development of the special type ofcommunity and the lack of the community construction experience, the vastmajority of residents in the community are difficult to change their values, wayof life and production in a short time, therefore, the community public service isa serious problem.The thesis focuses on the status quo of community public services in sixcommunities in Weihai. It explores the problems of effective public servicessupply in urban community changed from rural community on the basis ofin-depth interviews and questionnaire survey. It uses the theory of polycentriccommunity public services supply as its tool. Through empirical investigation ofsix communities in Weihai, it finds three main problems of public services supplyin urban community changed from rural community: unclear orientation ofresponsibility, the unsoundness of operation and management system and theresidents’ will are under-reflected. The problems which the reason mainly lies inthree parts: Firstly, the organization of community management is not perfectenough. Secondly, the community consciousness is not strong. Last but not least,the insufficient standard of market, etc.Learning from the experience of foreign community public services supplyand on the basis of the actual conditions in China, it suggests that the way ofimproving the supply of community public services in Weihai lies in thefollowing aspects: On the basis of accurate distinguishment between the urbancommunity changed from rural community and general city community, improvethe content, define the main provider and innovate the autonomy organization and management system of community.
