In recent years, countries are increasingly aware of the seriousness of the problem of corruption, and because of the development of science and technology, many countries have to consider the corruption as an international problem. All aspects of corruption cases need the cooperation of countries in the world, especially the cross-border pursuit of stolen goods. Therefore, the anti-corruption is raised from a domestic problem to a common problem faced by the international society. And countries within the framework of the United Nations also have reached a number of international agreements and made it entry into force quickly, which also express the consistency in the common fight against the anti-corruption issues.However, even though the countries have achieved consistency on the subjective views of anti-corruption issues, but in many areas, especially the cross-border pursuit stolen goods, the cooperation in the world is not enough. Despite the cross-border pursuit of the stolen goods is the final step in the process of anti-corruption, it is also the very critical step, because that it is directly related to the effect of the anti-corruption.In China’s case, corrupting officials fleeing outflows and corruption problems have become the new characteristics of the corruption crime in our country. The policy of the United Nations convention against corruption fill the gaps in international law in the related field, reflecting the international society’s common will and determination of corruption. However, the existing mechanisms of international cooperation against corruption still have many problems, and there is still a long way to go. Therefore, we need to review the development and practice of international cooperation against corruption, and to prospect the development direction of the future international cooperation against corruption.By using the method of the comparison and analysis, the paper compares and seeks the differences, and then puts forward the countermeasures.The innovation of this paper is that it not only analyses the domestic status quo, but also studies the international institutions with reference to the system and practice of other countries and regions in the prospect of globe. And there are both theoretical and practical examples, as well as the new international experience and viewpoint that can be used for reference.This paper is divided into three chapters, which is composed of the following parts:The first chapter is the basic concept and content of the cross-border pursuit of stolen goods, and in this chapter, China’s pursuit of stolen goods are also summarized.In the second chapter, the method of comparative analysis is used to describe the unique problems faced in some countries and regions and the common problems faced in the international society in the process of pursuit of stolen goods.The third chapter is the key part of the article, and it puts forward some constructive suggestions to the problems mentioned above. And both macrograph and microcosmic aspects are included in the suggestions.
