Collecting And Using Counter-terrorism Intelligence In China

China are facing the "three forces", namely violence terrorism, religious extremism, ethnic separatism threatened. With the coming of the Internet and the big data, the information and bits are everywhere, the unstructured data make the data processing more difficult, the information noise will make valuable information submerged in the ocean of data.Since the source of information is extremely broad and the content is quite complicated, how to remove the information noise and collect valuable information without missing it.The information sources should be selected to achieve accurate and efficient use.With the growing of terrorist attacks, our country has initially built counter-terrorism intelligence system suitable for the national conditions, but the counter-terrorism situation in China is still not optimistic, we are facing many new challenges.How to solve the problem of counter-terrorism information forgeries, to reduce the intelligence oversight, and how to enhance the analytical capabilities of anti-terrorist intelligence agencies, early-warning capabilities.These issues are helpful for fighting against terrorist crimes.By finding out our country current counter-terrorism information resources, the terrorism information boundary should be defined, the construction of terrorism intelligence gathering system, the construction of intelligence collection monitoring system, the urgency and importance of counter-terrorism information database are discussed in this paper.Although there are many issues related to terrorism and in recent years these researches have been expanded, the counter-terrorism intelligence research in our country is still very weak.As part of counter-terrorism efforts, counter-terrorism intelligence research is also part of intelligence work, counter-terrorism intelligence research is different from general intelligence work, it has its own characteristics.The terrorist attack often happens suddenly.There are various forms of terrorism.To deal with the strong concealment of the terrorist activities, the anti-terrorism informatior should be based on the full source of information.Using the literature research approach to get the latest research, including global authoritative research institutes and academic research results.Analysis the general evolution process of the terrorist attacks, figure out the information flow in terroris activities.Base on the intelligence process to categorize the information sources of counter-terrorism and describe the methods and use of counter-terrorism intelligence agencies.By starting from the content analysis proposed, collate and analyze the methods which can help getting the information of terrorist organizations.By analyzing the closed cases of the counter-terrorism agencies, we can get what is the real counter-terrorism intelligence needed.With the reference that successful experience of building foreign counter-terrorism database, it can help the intelligence agencies in our country to clarify the specific counter-terrorism information gathering border.By analyzing disadvantages of our counter-terrorism agencies, put forward to improve early warning capability of our counter-terrorism agencies, avoid violent terrorist incident, strengthen the fight against terrorism to promote ability and specific methods of social harmonious and stable.
