Exploration Of The Professional Service Under The Perspective Of The Elderly Social Work In Pension Institution

Aging is an irreversible trend of the human social development. In recent years, under the background of the increasing demand of pension and the gradual weakening of family support functions, all kinds of endowment policy developed. All factors leading to more and more elderly people actively or passively choose to stay in the pension institutions. Because of development time of pension institutions is short in China, so there are a number of problems. Especially the lower degree of professional service is the most important problems which restrict the development of the pension agency services.The elderly social work as a new discipline which provide specialized services for the elderly, it based on the comprehensive professional knowledge, "Help people to help themselves" as the value appeal, and emphasizes the value concept of professional technique and service. Therefore, the elderly social work intervene to pension services is one of the important ways to solve some practical problems, explore their potential, improve their living quality, and the management level of pension agency. By combining with the reality of pension mechanism and the aged’s diversified needs, then to explore the positive role of the social work methods in pension institutions, found its deficiency. The ultimate purpose is to find out the appropriate methods of social work in pension institutions, and promote the pension agency services.Based on the elderly social work as a research perspective, this paper taking the Nankai pension center as the research object, focusing on exploration of the problems of professional service in pension agency. First of all, do a simple introduction of pension center and the ageds. And then combined with the current situation of pension center, points out the existing problems and the causes of the problem in the process of the professional. Secondly, from the perspective of professional social work, specifically elaborated the intervention and evaluation of social work of pension services. Then put forward the five possible approaches to promote the professional service in pension agency. Finally, summarize the reflection on the full paper.
