Three Dimensions Affect Chinese Women’s PoliticalTrust

At present, Chinese society is in a period of development, but also a prominent contradictions, frequent occurrence of mass incidents and the social practice of anger, etc. are all more or less related to the defect in the political trust. In this context, China’s social and political transition process in the trust issue has become an important topic in academia and research. Political trust is an important part of the trust system. It is an indispensable key elements to promote economic development and social progress. It is also the necessary foundation of regime legitimacy. In the current academic studies of political trust, research on specific groups, like women, has not been available. The group of women accounts for half of the total population, their status and role in the political life has become a theme that not allow to ignore in the process of contemporary political civilization development. So the research on women’ political trust status and its influencing factors is of great significance.In this paper, on the basis of an empirical survey, I tried to analyzing the influence factors of women’ political trust. At the beginning, based on the carding of the existing research results and the particularity of women, I put forward three assumption of the influence factors of women’ political trust: at the individual level, age, education level, occupation, income and other factors have directly influence on women’ political trust, and marital status has no effect on their political trust; at the state or government level, national birth insurance policy has a significant influence on the degree of women’ political trust; at the social level, the mass media has a significant influence on the change of women’ political trust. Then in order to learn the overall political trust of the current state of women as well as the individual differences of the demographic variables on, birth insurance policy, the mass media’s influence on the political trust is significant, I used a variety of analysis methods, like using statistical analysis software to analyze the questionnaire data, and supplemented by interviews. Through the analysis, the demographic factors of education level, occupation, income and marital status of women’ political trust condition has a direct impact, there is no significant difference among age for the women’ political trust;Public policy related to the women, birth insurance policy has a significant effect on women political trust, The mass media plays an important role in influencing women’ political trust. Verified by the results of this study, the first research hypothesis is not completely set up, and the second and third study hypothesis are set up.
