Research On The Influencing Factors Of A Government Trust

The problem of government trust is related to the public’s approval of the government,which has a great effect on the government’s administrative work,so it has been the focus of Chinese and foreign scholars.Despite the rapid development of the global economy and the great progress of the society,the government has to pay attention to the fact that people’s trust in the government has declined.Many scholars have found that the factors that cause the government trust to decline to different degrees are various,the government’s own administrative behavior and many problems in the administrative process are one of the main factors that affect the public’s trust in the government.For the people,the government’s policies and decrees at all levels,the quality of personnel,the system,the functions of institutions and the whole political system are all important factors in the evaluation of government trust,the public judgment of Government Trust is not only about one public official,but also about the whole government organization and its system,which makes the study of government trust complicated and difficult.This paper chooses to study the influencing factors of A city government trust,defines the relevant research variables,and puts forward six research hypotheses.At the same time,through the design of A city government trust influencing factors questionnaire for pre-test research,in order to test whether the influencing factors index scale is in line with the actual situation of A city government.Through the analysis and test of the validity and reliability of the questionnaire data,it is found that the results of the questionnaire data are more in line with the requirements of empirical analysis,and then further through the factor analysis method and transpose matrix method to eliminate the scale indicators,so as to finally obtain the scale indicators used to issue the formal questionnaire.After the formal questionnaire is distributed and collected,the results of the questionnaire are analyzed.Specifically,the influence of different individual characteristics on government trust and the influence of main variables such as result concern,process concern,system trust,interpersonal trust and political awareness on government trust.At the end of the paper,according to the research process and conclusion,this paper puts forward some targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the trust construction of A city government.A city government should actively provide local residents oriented public products and social services,strengthen the trust process of government administration,establish complete administrative system,build a harmonious social environment with high trust,and cultivate and improve the political consciousness of local people to deal with the construction of government trust.This series of measures can not only gradually improve the local residents’ trust of A city government,but also provide corresponding guidance for other levels of local governments.
