| Cross-strait relations is one of the most urgent and important issues in China, reseaching on this issue has important practical significance and theoretical value. Great changes have taken place in the cross-strait since Mr Ma took office. During the history of the cross strait,media plays a very important role in exchanging and communication between both sides. For the mainland, the reseach of Taiwan media has important significance for us to understand the society and public opinion of Taiwan, moreover, it is also helpful of adjusting dissemination strategy torward Taiwan timely. Therefore, both sides should grasp this marvellous opportunity, draw on the advantages and aviod kill, to creat a win-win situation.This paper tries to present the real cross-strait relations of Taiwan main media. So, I choose one of the most popular newspaper in Taiwan ——United Daily News as the reseach object, investigate and analyse the editorials related to cross-strait relations between 2008 to 2013, and finally show the characteristics of cross straits relations from mang aspects, and analysis of the deep reasons. I hope the reaserch will have certain practical significance. |
