Research On The Government Functions In The County Economic Development

Due to the key position for China’s economic development, a county shows not only geographical advantages of connectivity, but also the effects for economic development. The role of the county economy in the country’s overall economic development cannot be replaced. The rapid development of county economy reflects the overall coordination and sustainable development of various industries and departments in the society, politics, culture, and economy of the whole nation, and it is a microcosm of the national policy orientation and economic development. Therefore, a study on the functions of a county government in the county economy has important practical and theoretical significance. Nowadays, the importance of the role of the county governments in the course of the county economic development has been commonly realized.By collecting solid data and materials related to economic and policy aspects of the Guyang County, and visiting the enterprises and institutions there, the author gets the comprehensive understanding of the main problems concerning the local economic development and identifies the problems and deviations of the government functions, and then puts forward practical suggestions based on the local situations.The first part introduces the background and significance of the topic, content and methods of the study, as well as domestic and international research review.
