| Recently, with the economy sustained, rapid growth and the acceleration of urbanization, highlight a series of problems. The construction of the livable city is the inevitable requirement of urban sustainable development. It provides a feasible path for the healthy development of the city.As a resource-based city, Wuhai city exploitation of coal resources for many years, made rapid economic growth. However, resource shortage and environment pollution are more serious than in other cities. The Wuhai government attached great importance to these issues, proposed establishing the livable city in Wuhai, improve the level of livable city. In the process of establishing the livable city, governments, enterprises, experts, the public and the media are involved and play a role. However, the Government remains the dominant player and promoter.Firstly, this thesis narrates the related concepts of livable city. Besides, this thesis studies the present situation of wuhai city livable construction situation and related practices. Then, it points existing problems of construction the livable city-Wuhai from infrastructure, environment, housing, atmosphere and water environment. At last, Based on the actual situation of Wuhai, refer to the successful experience of other livable city. The author put forward some optimization measures for government behavior in the process of establishing livable cities. |
