Research On The Government Micro-blog Use In View Of Information Theory

Micro-blog has become an indispensable source of Chinese public opinion and public opinion field, on such an important field as well as a wealth of information frequently exchange platform, the government cannot be absent. Establish government micro-blog is the best way to understand and manage micro-blog. Based on the information theory, this thesis is studying the use of government micro-blog with the information transfer principle, the principle of spatial and temporal variability, information conversion principle and the feedback principle. The first chapter elaborate why government micro-blog emerges from the three aspects: service-oriented government requirements, micro-blog users’ huge consumer demand for information and the increasingly developing Internet technology. The second chapter based on the principle of information transfer, to discuss the issue of government micro-blog currently using from the five aspects: source, coding, channel, sink and environment. The third chapter explain the causes of problems found from the information transfer process, first of all, information source’s characteristics,to some extent, interfere with the transmission of information process in the beginning; secondly, the disorder of code lead to receivers’ misunderstanding in the coding process; Thirdly, diversification of information destination caused differences information received results; finally, the internal and external environment, to some extent, block the channel so that affects the transmission of information. Chapter four combined the theory and practice, proposed countermeasures aimed at the issues of government micro-blog application, the first section, to improve the credibility of government micro-blog on the source, content and media three areas; section two, enhancing government micro-blog controlling by improving staff’s media literacy and the government micro-blog effective operation; Section three, mainly from coding, which is to improve the government micro-blog content to enhance Internet users’ Get degrees; section four, to improve government micro-blogs’ sense of presence and public favor by shaping government micro-blog brand, planning normalized operation of micro-blog and strengthening government micro-blog service characteristic, in order to raise public concern about government micro-blog.
