So the research of the actual pension will of Shanghai elder, maintain and improve the quality of life in elderly population, reasonable alternative model has scientific significance and practical significance.This article begins from the Shanghai pension model foundation course of evolution,analysis current pension model reality and problem of requirement change, family change,economic change under development background of Shanghai, then through based on the empirical study of the elderly intend to analysis different ages under different condition,different economic base, and the different needs of the elderly to pension mode, come to the conclusion that multi-dimension endowment patterns in Shanghai and safeguard measures.
