The Populism From The Perspective Of Marxism—the Concept And Recognition

Since the populist precedent from Russia, USA, discussions about the populism has been scholars research hot spot. Especially under the background of globalization, the social political, economic, culture of rapid development, people’s social pressure increases, increase social gap between the rich and the poor, social crisis increased, people’s ideological consciousness raising, provided the soil for the growth of populism in the social transformation and social crisis. For a time, the discussion about the populist began active, this is related to an important question that how should we treat populism? However, the evaluation of an object is good or bad, we should make clear what is this object first, otherwise it is baseless talk. It has experienced a long period of time to research the concept of populism, but it has not an accurate concept and definition. I dare not to attempt to define a populism, but attempts summarize the core concept, reasons, forms the birth of populism through the practice case of various countries in this paper, which help us to more accurately grasp the concept, recognition the populism. This paper will be divided into four parts to make a statement.The first part, review the Populist Movement in practice of America, Russia, Latin American countries, analysis of the national background, features. Then, the rise of China’s populist discussion is more influenced by Russian Populism, published since the works of Lenin "Chinese democratic and populist", set off a discussion about populism in China. So, this part introduces the influence of Lenin on populism and populist views on Lenin. Then summarize to grasp the concept of populism from phenomenon.The second part, analyzes the origin of populist discussion in China, the discussion of the liberalism on populism, and then comment the ideas of liberalism on populism. With the discussion of liberalism about populism as discussed typical presentation, so as to further understanding of the lower part of the populist pave the way.The third part, recognize the true face of populism, admit and affirm the progressive significance of populism in particular appeared,face and vigilance the negative influence of populism.
