At the same time, public enterprise supply drinking water to the city, based on considerations of the pipe network settings, water and other cost factors, the lack of a market economy necessary regulatory and competition, leading to the city is difficult to protect the security of drinking water, affecting the user’s health.This article from the perspective of social regulation, at the same time, economic law, social law, regulation economics and other related theories will be used, with the characteristics and practical which need to pay attention to in the security aspects of urban drinking water. Let the measures of the system of social regulation applied to all aspects of the city drinking water to protect the security of it and analyzing, then summarize the goals which will be achieved by putting the social regulation measures into all aspects of the city’s drinking water to protect it’s security. Finally, draw the conclusion that the social regulation regime can play a positive role in protecting the security of China’s urban drinking water.
