The Effect Of Happiness In Social Security

The more risk the society has, the worse the people will feel. There is a global difficult problem that how to design the social security system in order to increase the happiness of people. The social security system not only influences the aging of population, but also the other social problem such as urbanization. On the basis of previous studies, this paper want to research the relationship between the social security system and the happiness. And it will be meaningful.This paper uses the CGSS(2010) macro data which has a large number of samples to establish an ordered probit model. And the results of empirical analysis show that: social security has a significant positive impact on residents’ subjective well-being. Besides, from the further analysis of different items and groups, we can find the fact: firstly, medical insurance and endowment insurance both have the significant positive impact on residents’ subjective well-being. However, medical insurance has the stronger one. Secondly, the effects on residents from the group of eastern region, the group of rural, the group of lower income and the group whose age are under 60 are stronger than other groups. These findings have profound meaning to the improvement of social security system.Through the above empirical results, this paper presents the relevant policy recommendations. Firstly, adhere to the people-oriented mind, and pay attention to the national happiness. Secondly, adhere to sustainable development principle, and consider the lever of economic development. Third, respect for traditional culture, combined with local characteristics. Fourth, pay attention to interactive relationship, and enhance the ability of social security appeal. In addition, we can advance the system through the below ways: expansion of security programs, importance of medicare insurance, reduction of the gap of different groups, and the sustainable development.The framework of this paper: The first chapter is about the introduction part, which is mainly about the background and significance of writing, and the research innovation points and difficulties. The second chapter introduces the previous studies of other researchers. The third chapter is all about the design of order probit model. And the fourth chapter is mainly about the analysis results and the suggestions.
