Daily life which is the foundation of the whole social life are the most familiar and repetitive practice for individuals or groups. Appearing with their own identity, status and capital, does young intellectuals’daily life conform the "intellectual"transcendent ought to be sense? In the structural constraints how does their daily life practice? This paper selected young liberal arts university teachers in Shanghai as a representative of the youth group of intellectuals and used Gidden’s’ theory of structural analysis as tool to expand research. Then found that:Firstly, the current situation and characteristics of young intellectuals’ daily life. From leisure and consumer aspect, young intellectuals are generally not satisfied with their leisure life subjectively and present understated rational characteristics in the consumer lifestyle. On working time, they follow a strict time order and fixed space area. Meanwhile, their work content which revolves around teaching and research is very stable and in line with their interests. The perception of their work environment is also a stimulate project so that they choose this career and long-term struggle in such environment. The relatively free and fair environment in campus enables them to realize their ideals more independent on daily lives. From a psychological point of view, young intellectuals are mainly established as a kind of "know and undo" psychological experience.Second, through analysis, this paper found that the formation of daily ways of young intellectuals is a "Fusion" process between action and structure. On the one hand, this structure contains the rules and resources which can restrict the daily life of young intellectuals on individuals, work and social dimensions; On the other hand, under the above circumstance, young intellectuals have formed a strategic logic of actors through their "conscious" rational choice and reflexive monitoring and used resources and rules to reproduce their own behavior patterns.
