The Non-profit Organizations In The Poor Children Rescue Case Report

China has not yet established a perfect child welfare system and child protection policy, unable to realize the children in poverty relief completely rely on the power of the government. After the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, grassroots nonprofit organizations like bamboo shoots after a spring rain as active in the field of social relief. It is in a very strong financing capability, and efficient operational capacity and flexible organizational capacity to make up for deficiencies in the government’s social assistance, become the government’s "valve" and "stabilizer". However China’s grassroots non-profit organization is still in the initial stage, studied rescue process has not been disadvantaged by the attention and concern, how to guide and standardize the grass-roots non-profit organizations to provide more professional service is the problem that solves urgently.This study adopts the qualitative research method, taking Shandong province Wenshang County Fodu Volunteers Association 10 poor children as the object of study," Guyi Gaofei 10+10" project as an example, application of social work general process model of non profit organizations in the process of grassroots children in poverty relief. The project for the recipient children economic pressure, the dropout rate, lower mental health level, insufficient social support, access to information channels and other aspects of the problem, activities carried out warmth and caring soul flying ideal activities in caring for children, and the creation of a peer support group and neighborhood self-help groups, enhances the ability to deal with the difficulties of poor children. Activities to protect the right to education of children; providing material assistance, to improve the living conditions; pay attention to the psychological health of children, cultivate a positive and optimistic character; expand the social support system, set up a crisis response mechanism. Grassroots non-profit organizations in the process of relief showed high social sensitivity and responsiveness, offer to volunteer to participate in the platform, improve the awareness of citizens, to improve the situation of children in poverty and so on advantage. Simultaneously, I found in the process involved in the project, non profit organizations to help the poor children are faced with many problems. Fodu Volunteers Association itself there is a lack of funds, the internal management mechanism confusion, low quality of service, a single measure of activity type single issue, affects the project achievements. In view of the problems occurred in the project, combined with the existing non-profit organizations in grass roots, the author tries to put forward its own proposals. Fodu Volunteers Association should strengthen cooperation, enhance and government financing ability, establishing evaluation mechanism, improve the optimization of the volunteer management.
