Diplomatic thought is the sum of idea, consciousness and view of national politicians, diplomats, thinkers about national foreign activities,it is relative to the political thought, military thought, culture thought, economic thought, philosophical thought, and that these politicians and thinkers internally thought in the field of foreign-related extension.The diplomatic thought of new China mainly through the main leader Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s thoughts to reflect and express,they are the new China’s diplomatic strategy and the main foreign policy makers, and one of the main driving force of these strategies and major policies, so study the new China’s diplomatic thought mainly by studying their works and speech.Through comparative study,as you can see their change and development on major diplomatic thoughts,to better grasp the new China’s diplomatic practice from theoretical level.And looking for diplomatic strategy in the new period and diplomatic policy according to the theory.In this paper, the content of the text mainly includes five parts:The first chapter:Forming conditions of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought.This part first introduced the similarities both forming conditions of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thoughts:Are guided by the Marxist world outlook and methodology;Both are creative use and inheritance of the international relations theory of Marxism-Leninism;Both are the gene inheritance and carry forward to Chinese excellent traditional culture.Secondly introduced differences between their diplomatic thoughts forming conditions;Two people’s different age and the world pattern.Different social contradictions to solve.The social mission to accomplish both is different.The second chapter:Compare to the basic content of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s Diplomatic Thought.This part covers the basic content of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping diplomacy thought, and comparing the similarities and differences.The diplomatic thoughts insist on the diplomatic principles of independence and peaceful coexistence.Maintain diplomatic core national interests above all else.Stick to the diplomatic principle to oppose hegemony and maintain the world peace. In addition,adhere to the diplomatic foothold unity and strive for the third world countries and people.On the other hand,the differences of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought basic content include that the era theme judgment has the difference;The difference of historical subject;The choice of foreign value orientation has the difference.The third chapter:The Comparison of Foreign Policy of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s Diplomatic Thought.This part mainly discusses diplomatic strategies used in the diplomatic practice by Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping.Both adhere to the interests of the state as the highest principle. Diplomacy of combination of firm principles and flexible tactics.The pursuit of the value of maintaining world peace and promoting common development purpose.But,diplomacy means used by both is different;Present Different Gestures in the diplomatic practice;Implementing different diplomatic strategy;The solution to the problems left over by history in a different way.The fourth chapter:The different foreign effectiveness of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought.This part mainly summarize achievements obtained under the guidance of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought and to compare them.They created good diplomatic environment for each period in the development of China;They made great contributions to peace and development of the world for each age and made a contribution to the development and enrich of the international relations theory of Marxism-Leninism.The difference includes:Different diplomatic environment was shaped for the development and progress of China;Different diplomatic pattern were pursuit for international peace and development;Way to promote the development of the international communist movement has the difference.The fifth chapterrThe reality enlightenment of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thought.This is a full stop,summarizes the previous four parts of content, several Suggestions are drawn:In our present-day diplomatic work,using the law of the unity of opposites analysis of the current international situation is the starting point of diplomatic work; Theory with practice, seeking truth from facts to foreign policy is the standpoint of diplomatic work; Safeguarding state security, adhere to the principle of national interest maximization is a focal point of diplomatic work;Resolutely opposes Hegemony and advocate the construction of "Harmonious World" is the essences of diplomatic work;Finally, cannot ignore the importance of foreign science and technology, in the current international backdrop,taking advantage of science and technology diplomacy to deal with the challenges of globalization, is one of the important point for China’s diplomatic work.
