Cultural Adaptation Of Ethnic Minority Migrant Workers Under The Background Of Happiness

Reform and opening up 30 years, with industrialization, urbanization and modernization progresses, raised hundreds of millions of migrant workers in cities, minority farmers working for one important part of their survival and development is also related to social stability and economic prosperity.However,the minority of migrant workers,not only faced with the cultural differences between urban and rural areas,but also faced cultural differences between the family and other ethnic cultures, this difference changes will directly affect their values as values important concept of happiness to one of the very likely to happen important changes.Therefor,the main objective of this study is to analyze the cultural adaptation of migrant workers under minority background concept of happiness changes.This study use social representations research paradigm,Using word association method, with the network of social analysis techniques to study minority of migrant workers in the face of urban and rural culture, the family culture and other cultures double acculturation under the concept of happiness conditions.Specifically it contains two aspects.One is by not migrant minority farmers for comparison, the overall status of migrant minority of migrant workers Conceptions of Happiness.The second is to analyze the differences between minoritys of migrant workers to adapt to different types of cultural concept of happiness,in order to determine the influence of acculturation concept of happiness.This study has the following findings: Display:(1) whether migrant worker, "health", "happy" is an important aspect of minority farmers to pursue happiness.(2) Compared to non- migrant minority farmers, diversified characteristics of minority migrant workers view of happiness more obvious,conventional wisdom tends to dilute the pursuit of children and grandchildren,value for money and the individual’s own more fancy.(3) The concept of minority migrant workers happy core vocabulary of different types of acculturation differences are significant,cultural adaptation in the fusion type state of minority representation migrant workers happy vocabulary most concentrated.This study has the following basic conclusions are:(1) Reflects the Chinese traditional culture, "longevity well-being," the concept of happiness is still prevalent in minority farmers.(2) Migrant city life changing concept of happiness minority farmers,reflecting the traditional values of social life fade, reflecting the values of modern urban life needs in the pursuit obvious.(3) Acculturation good minority of migrant workers the concept of happiness is more stable, consistent, and acculturation status of minority poor migrant workers more decentralized concept of happiness and instability.Research on counter measures and suggestions.
