| Since the reform and opening up, we have achieved a great success in the rural economic and social development, but on the other hand, rural residents’ living and working conditions have been a matter of public concern. The overall surroundings in rural areas have gradually deteriorated: some farmlands have even become wastelands for city garbage. The reasons are as follows: the effect of traditional extensive agricultural development models is mainly to blame; there is also a lack of understanding of the environmental problems for farmers; the managerial measures taken by the government sectors-related have not been fully in place; a lower degree of social concern is also part of the problem. The status of the rural environment proposed is quite at odds with the construction of a new socialist countryside that aims at "a clean and tidy village", far from the requirements of the ecological civilization construction. Therefore, the author made a thorough research into the Changbai-governed eight towns’ environmental conditions. Based on the problems and solutions, I proposed a series of measures to improve rural working and living environments. I hope this paper can have certain reference value to promote the rural environment.This text is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the definition, content, basis and significance of the rural environmental joint remediation; the second part elaborates the existing problems, their causes and some targeted practices carried out under the jurisdiction of Changbai County; the third part makes a detailed analysis of the sources of the drinking water, domestic sewage, household garbage and livestock and poultry breeding pollution, and puts forward the countermeasures and corresponding measures. To the end of the article is the environmental protection called for. Environmental issues are closely related to everybody’s life, only by the joint efforts of the whole society, can we ensure the healthy development of the environment. |
