Research On Rural Community Environmental Problems:present Situations, Causes And Proposals

In recent years, China’s urban environment improved increasingly. However, rural community environmental problems are becoming much worse, which have already become the obstacles of rural economy development, and the key negative factors to the stability of rural society as well. Thus, to focus on rural community environmental problems, especially to improve and protect the rural community environment have become the urgent matter. With such a background, this paper is a study of rural community environmental problems. Based on the field survey on one village named A in this paper, which is located in the north of Pei Xian County in Jiangsu province. By using case interviews, the questionnaire survey, and field participant observation method, also referring to the discipline of environmental sociology, the paper will make below analyses in this context. Firstly, combined with overall situation of the north Pei Xian County, the paper will analyze the present situations of the environmental problems and its social consequences in village A; Secondly, from inside and outside constructions for village A perspective, the paper will discuss related social reasons for those problems; Finally, based on the multi-agent interaction of related factors, the paper will try to come up with rural community environmental protection countermeasures and suggestions.
