Applied Research On Community Correction Based On Casework

In recent years, the community correction is developing rapidly in our country.Each area formed with "Beijing model". "Shanghai model" as a representative of community correction mode,which is on the basis of the absorption of the experience of community correction’s development in domestic and foreign. In this paper, the methods of social work in case are used in the work of community correction practically.using the theory,method of social work in case to solve problems in community correction,such as correction object passive correction, community correctional supervision over to community correction object function of the return to society, the community correction method of the single, community correction, mobilize the problem such as inadequate resources.According to the Bureau of justice of the correction object Zhao as a case of service object linking theory with practice,the paper is to help the object to overcome psychological barriers, enhance their confidence to face life, help the correction object to adapt to the transition from prison life to the life of the community as soon as possible,using of basic theory and method of social work, adhering to the "people-oriented" concept of value and helping people to help themselves to work target.Through the case involved, we achieved good results, and as shown below.The case intervention should abide by acceptance, plasticity and the individual value idea, to establish a professional relationship with the correction object equality, trust, sincere,open, using listening, caring attitude to talk with correction object.with the introduction of psychological counseling,to improve the work skills of case correction.The case of community correction has its own advantages in the aspect of involved in the city community corrections. It can be effective for open type characteristic correction correction of space, can be effective for the correction of a case for the integration of resources, can fully play its role according to the specific corrections. The occupation ethics of case work is to provide theory support for community correction.Through the analysis of the case involved, we also found work in the city community correction has some limitations.For instance the relevant legal system is not perfect, the correction is not standardized; resource integration degree is low; lack of professional talents of case work, to carry out the work of control case; correction of low awareness of rights, pay attention to duty,problem solving is not complete and so on.In author’s opinion, in order to solve these problems, first of all,we should seek cooperation with colleges and universities to strengthen the theoretical construction of community correction, community correction work to promote the combination of theory and practice;secondly, full attention must be paid to the selection of correction workers ability, moral evaluation, technical training and other work; third, to speed up the legislation of community correction.The implementation of community corrections to be recognized from the legal subject status, to absorb talents, wide material resources, establish and improve the three-dimensional network in community correction.As long as the parties to the case were involved in social work, community correction will better promote the development of community correction, makes the contribution for the social and national stability.
