A Study On The "Shuangju" Phenomenon Of Migrant Labors In Hangzhou

With the urbanization process have speeded up, the migration actions of migrant labors changes a lot compared with the past. The phenomenon that the concentrated living actions of migrant labors become frequently. For example, the individual migration becomes family migration, and the scattered living becomes gathered living gradually. Meanwhile, because of the economic and social transformation, also the city labor market change, traditional aggregation behavior changes a lot in scale and connotation based on the geopolitical relations of migrant labors. The "trade" agglomeration behavior relying on industry margin relations closely embeds in floating population’s social network in city, which forms the "shuangju" phenomenon(the migrant labors a re countrymen and workmates at the same time in the town).The author researched the "shuangju" migrant labors in Huayuangang community deeply through a questionnaire about living and work situation of migrant labors and also interviewed several directors. On the basis of investigation and research, the author masters the characterastics and psychological demands of the group and the current experience and problems of Gongshu district. Furthermore, the author analyzes that the "shuangju" migrant labors are regional, cohesional and dependent and members of the group develops according to the career choice mechanism, the space choice mechanism, the relational network mechanism and the identity admit mechanism. Finally, the solutions and measures are put forward.This phenomenon is a double-edged sword. It brings the construction and development for the town, meanwhile, there are some negative impact for social comprehensive management. On the one hand, it is better for the floating population integrating into the city quickly, on the other hand, it may become the block for the group blending in city.This phenomenon with inevitable dual effect brings the gospel for the town and the migrant labors, meanwhile, there are some contradiction. Firstly, economic development contradicts resource allocation. Secondly, the cultural dependence is inconsistent with rigid effect. Thirdly, the identity admit conflicts town integration. Forthly, the personal development contradicts psychological health, and then the cost savings conflicts expansion, which can not be ignored.So the urban and rural system should be broken thoroughly and the Hukou reform ought to be deepened. We’d better perfect the matrical management system and strengthen matrical service. The channels of interests expression are needed to be unblocked and the contradiction mediation mechanism should be improved. We’d better open up employment information market and strengthen the labor skills. Otherwise, we also need to promote the building of small cities and towns and guide the labor backflow reasonably. The resources and information between town and rural government should to be united and shared. At last, we need prevent and guide the migrant labors groups to avoid collective actions.
