Research On The Coordination Of Interests In The Process Of Pluralistic Society

Implementation of reform and opening up policy has had a positive and far-reachingimpact on the aspects of economy, culture, politics and so on so forth. The social structuretransforms from unipolar to pluralism. CPC Central Committee on Deepening ReformComprehensively the Decisions on Major Issues is party and government’s significant reviewand summary of this transformation. At the same time, the decision also contains expectationand plan for our country. Its core content covering two aspects: on the one hand, improvesocial governance system building; on the other hand, attach great importance to people’slivelihood. Starting from the idea coordination of interests, in line with the pluralistic societybuilding, our country should combine people’s livelihood and social governance organically toassist problem solving such as interests differentiation and interest conflicts. Therefore, thestudy of interest coordination mechanism in pluralistic society has a strong practicalsignificance. Interest coordination mechanism construction is not only an essential componentof social management system, but also a vital means of resolving livelihood problems andsecuring the functioning of our society.Based on the summary of interest coordination theory and modern society managementtheory, this paper analyzes the malfunction of interest differentiation and interest coordinationin the process of our society’s significant transformation. This paper also points out theproblems in the process of pluralistic society, such as barriers in governance expressionmechanism, deficiencies in interest integration mechanisms, problems in interest constraintmechanism and interest compensation mechanism. This paper also explores the cause of theseproblems from the perspectives of structure, system, policy and group. Finally, the paper alsoput forwards countermeasures for interest coordination mechanism in the background ofpluralistic society: firstly, respect for social diversification requirements and make varioussocial organizations act their roles in building interest coordination mechanisms; secondly,protect the legitimate demands of different interest groups and improve legal construct ininterest coordination mechanisms; thirdly, meet the demands of the development process ofpluralistic society and in order to achieve the purpose of interest coordination mechanisminnovation, strengthen the comprehensive complementarity between different groups ininterest coordination mechanism building.
