The ideological and political education is an activity of educators to cultivate andeducate people, which in certain ideological position. Since30years of opening up andreform, the science and technology of our country altering from day to day, socialistmodernization advancing steadily. We made great achievements in economy, politics,culture and so on. The ideological and political education of the CPC also experiencedtortuous development, reforming and innovating constantly in practices, fulfilledrevolutionary transform, it brings deeper influence on social development. Since thefounding of the CPC, especially the implement of opening up and reform, theideological and political education play a more and more important role, exertingsignificant effect in the process of socialist modernization. Accompany with thematurity and development of the CPC, the theory of the ideological and politicaleducation of the CPC also developing and innovating constantly. It also combined withfundamental realities of our country and social practice, pointing the right direction forthe development of our country. Look back the development history of the ideologicaland political education of the CPC, promoting the reformation and innovation of theideological and political education go a step further, have fatal theoretical significanceand realistic significance.This article is divided into seven parts. The first chapter introduction points out thebackground and research situation of the ideological and political education of the CPCsince opening up and reform, the main content, research method and significance. Thesecond chapter states the CPC brought order out of chaos and started new situation ofthe ideological and political education in Deng Xiaoping period, also sums up thecharacter of the ideological and political education in this period. The third chapterstates the succeed explore and new content of the ideological and political education inJiang Zemin period, also sums up the character of the ideological and political educationin this period. The fourth chapter states innovations of the ideological and politicaleducation in Hu Jintao period and the ideological and political education from thescientific development concept, also sums up the character of the ideological andpolitical education in this period. The fifth chapter states the new thinkings about the ideological and political education which are proposed by Xi Jinping, including the“Chinese Dream”, the mass line of the party, combat corruption and build a cleangovernment, also sums up the character of the ideological and political education inthis period. The sixth chapter explains the changes and rules of the ideological andpolitical education of the CPC since opening up and reform. The seventh chapterdiscusses the modern inspiration of development of the ideological and politicaleducation of the CPC since opening up and reform.
