Nowadays, internet era have a profound influence on thepolitical life in present society. In the internet era，everyone can dothe most fast and effective political participation to express theirpolitical opinion, people can have a full discussion and consultation,and have an effective supervision to the government’s behavior anddecision. At the same time, internet can play the ideologicaleducation function and produce a subtle influence on individualvalues.Since the arrival of the Internet age, constructions ofgoverning capacity of the party bring a lot of new opportunities:Internet age builds a new platform for ruling party receiving thepublic opinion; Internet age provides a new channel for thedemocratization of governing; the govern and party utilize the newmeans of information dissemination of network age. However,network age not only brings good opportunities, but also leads tomany problems for strengthening the construction of Party’sgovernance capability: pluralism of ideology and diversity of socialthought attack dominance of mainstream ideology; informationsafety faces new challenges; a network pseudo-public opinionseriously disturbed the normal order of the network; crisis of public opinion about online always challenge the authority of thegovernment; Internet era puts new challenges for leaders. Theseissues bring critical challenges for strengthening party’s governingability. Facing challenges, the thesis puts forward five strategies inthe following: Firstly, the ruling party should employ advancedculture to lead social thought and strengthen the socialist corevalue system; secondly, the ruling party strengthens thegovernment’s ability which communicates with the public under thenetwork environment and forms healthy communication betweenGovernment and People; thirdly, the ruling party should establish asound construction of legal institutions of network; fourthly, theruling party should strengthen the institutional management of thenetwork and improve system and mechanism of networkmanagement; finally, Government should make efforts to the teamconstruction, pay attention to the talent training and take highquality human resources to ensure harmonious and stable.
