The Research On The Sustainable Development Of Chinese Non-government Charitable Organization

Charity is a sign of social civilization, but also a way to redistribute the social wealth. Charity is beneficial to improve the social harmony and the overall social welfare, and also is a necessary complement of the social security system by government. As an important carrier of charity, non-governmental charitable organization plays an indispensable role and has attracted increasing attention by people and society.Basing on the theory of sustainable development, this thesis studies the development of the non-governmental charitable organization. Firstly, this paper constructs the framework for the development of Non-governmental Charitable Organization. The sustainable development of the non-governmental charitable organization should be characterized by strategy, creativity and adaptability. Secondly, it analyzes factors by sustainable development of non-governmental charitable organization. Advantage aspects are as follows: its own advantages, better institutional environment, upgrading economic and cultural level, the rapid development of information technology; Disadvantage aspects are also follows: clearly define their functions, unsound internal governance mechanism, the absence of preferential tax policies, lags in the internal system construction, lack of human resources, single financing way. All of These problems before mentioned not only severely restrict the sustainable development of the non-governmental charitable organization, but also can’t adapt to China’s economic and social development, which has become the problem to be solved facing by academic and practical sectors. Finally, this thesis put forward the idea for the sustainable development of the non-governmental charitable organization. First, it should establishes the strategic goal of sustainable development for the non-governmental charitable organization, including: clearly own positioning, public beneficial maximization, open and transparent strategic goal; Second, it should strengthens the creativity of non-governmental charitable organization, including innovate ideas of the charity organization, innovate human resource management, standardize internal management, expand the financing channels, perfect the open information system, strengthen cooperation and competition; Third, it should builds the sustainable development of non-governmental charitable organization’s adaptability to the environment. In order to make charitable organization more standardization and specialization, it should construct a new outside development environment by the government, enterprises, social media and the public.
